Australian Council Of Stoma Associations
This association publishes a journal ‘Ostomy Australia’, which contains interesting articles, stories and tips for persons living with a stoma.
The journal was established in 1992, and is published three times a year. It is provided free to every member of an Australian Ostomy Association.

‘Charter’ journal is a publication for users of ostomy and continence products, produced by Coloplast UK. It is available free to clinical nurse specialists and to all patients on Coloplast’s mailing list.
Contents of the journal cover topics including practical care, medical insights and psychological issues.

This association produces an informative, quarterly, glossy magazine ‘Tidings’ for colostomates, their families and carers. It is written specifically by the Colostomy Association, with contributions by ostomates and stoma care professionals. Features include real life stories, the latest reviews on new stoma care products, ostomate tips, etc.

Complex Child is a free online only magazine. The Urology and Nephrology section includes articles on urinary tract infections, cathing, urostomies, foley catheters, neurogenic bladder, voiding problems, abnormalities of the genitalia, kidney disorders and blood pressure regulation.
Federation Of New Zealand Ostomy Societies
The official journal, ‘N.Z. Ostomate’ of this association is published three times a year. It is delivered free to all ostomates, whether they are members of the Society or not, being available from ostomy supply sources.
The journal features stories from ostomates, product and medical information, reports from local areas, useful contact information, and much more.

The quarterly ‘Secure Start’ publication is created by Hollister for the American market, but it is available worldwide. It is designed specifically for ostomates.
The newsletter includes ostomate stories, product information, company news, the latest insurance reimbursement updates, questions and answers with Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses (WOC nurses), ostomy community news and events.
The publication is delivered free to mailing list members via email, and ostomates can subscribe online to receive the publication.
Ileostomy And Internal Pouch Support Group
This support group publishes the IA journal, which is sent to all IA members, quarterly, free of charge in March, June, September and December.
The journal is a valuable source of regular information for both ileostomates and internal pouch patients. It normally includes various articles about new products and appliance equipment, ostomy management, and many other matters involving life with an ileostomy or internal pouch. There are usually several pages of letters from members and personal stories. In addition, the journal keeps members in touch with what is happening within the IA.
